Default Photo of my coin belt

Hi, Yesterday I took a picture of coin belt and I want you to know what do you think. It still needs some work though

That's pretty minimalist, Remus. You have to consider how a costume will show up from a distance. I suspect for anyone sitting more than ten feet away this coin belt will be invisible. It looks more like one of those waist chains those with gorgeous waistlines wear to make the thick-waisted green with envy.

Disclaimer: Of course I'm not envious of anyone's waistline. Green is my natural complexion color.

I understand the purpose of waist chains and belts is to draw attention to the hip movement in ME dance, so Remus, more embellishment is needed if as Shanazel has said it is to be noticed as for what it is and what it is for.

It definitely looks like a good start. Generally, coin belts will have a lot more coins, as well as drapes, swaps, or fringes that dangle to add more movement. Costume pieces are movement magnifiers, so remember when you are working on it that it is meant to enhance the visibility of your movements from the slightest to the most energetic.

Good start! I agree with what has been said above, more coins would be better. Someone who is farther away just will not see that at all. Try to see if you can makes some that dangle as they will really accent hip movements.
