A completely non-professional opinion: I like them! On the one hand, they appeal to my slightly more modest side. On the other hand, they balance out the sparkly top.

Wow, I haven't seen this kind of leggings before. I agree, they seem weird on their own, but I can imagine them work very well with the skirt. They can be very useful for outdoor gigs (think of wind!), and more conservative audiences.
However, if you are good with this thing, then you can make the leggings into shorts that you wear under the costume, and use the rest as costume bits/spare parts. It just seems too difficult for me![]()
I like them too though not without a full length skirt over. You can do that legs all the way up look but still look modest, and they are a bit different.
I love the leggings with the skirt! Awesome for cold venues, windy venues, raised stages, and a more modest day. I'd keep them- they are pretty and practical.
Following an off topic thread and noticed this thread. I initially thought the leggings were hideous but changed my mind later. Wear them with your skirt, and start a new trend.![]()
I don't think they are very out of fashion, the skin toned leggings are still fashion so why not these?
i think they're cute. you could wear them if you're not comfortable showing your legs during dance. or make some funky kind of practise pants.
I like the idea of practice pants. If the goddess ever decides to give me back the figure I had at 23 I'd wear something like this to teach in.
