True if pretending to be me counts :P otherwise no.

T/F: has the sound system at a gig ever stuffed up so badly that you had to dance without music?

False. I did lose my music at a big festival & asked the drummers to drum for me instead.

True or False: You have found sequins stuck to your arm (or other part of the body) that don't match any of your costumes, projects or clothes - ergo you have no idea where they came from - yet here they are!

True...I have had that happen in theatre during a trip to a festival...but false that I didnt know where they came from. I was on stage crew...not acting...and when I went to clean up the dressing room, the school before us had not bothered to neaten up one bit, so I picked up red sequins trying to get their costume particles...crumbs from their backstage snacks, etc out of the furniture and carpets.

True or false: Someone has said something rude and untrue about belly dancing in your presence, not knowing that you belly dance.

False, but did when they knew I was a belly dancer, included a stubborn ex! The post about that still floats around here somewhere on OD!
He claimed that some belly dancers dance topless. I told him that those are not belly dancers, the guy was so stubborn, it wasn't really about the correctness for him but just wanted to be right about everything *sigh*

T/F:
you encountered extreme diva/winey behavior backstage from another dancer.

False, but I'm sure I've come across that way.

True or false: your cat bats your elbow when she wants food.

False, but 2 costumes in exact the same colour, I was rather dissapointed when I noticed that.

T/F: you have sacrificed a veil or some fringe for your cat to play with.

False. THough I would like a holiday to a workshop some time.

True or false: you ever performed in a costume that wasn't completely finished.

(Full disclosure: I've pinned myself into a costume at least once. In addition, when I got married my maid of honor actually had to sew the wrists and upper neck of my dress together before the ceremony. I made my dress and hadn't wanted to sew on the buttons until after I had the dress cleaned and pressed. Then I forgot and left the buttons at home- and we got married 160 miles away. That night my husband ceremoniously cut me out of my dress. )
Amulya, Darshiva and Janene Aliza like this.

True...in theatre in college. Mine kept falling apart...so I was onstage missing pieces of it at many points in time.

True or False: You have made a major alteration to or investment in your appearance (grew out your hair, colored your hair, bought all new makeup, had an expensive salon treatment) just for belly dance.
