  • Thanks for the rep! Due to my adaptation stage to the new Forum i just realised we are notified about reputation too! :)
    Hi Aziyade!
Just wanted to say thank you for the rep points you gave me.

    Have a wonderful day!
    :)
Couldn't rep you for the post you made in the "turmoil" thread, but I wanted you to know that post was AWESOME. I think you are right on the money about how people think this is easy. It isn't easy at all! It takes a lot more dedication than people think. Kudos for giving it straight.
    Hi!
I wanted to give you rep for your post on various bd philosophies, but I have to spread more love around before I am allowed to rep you again. *hugs*
I'm definitely going to follow your advice....I think I mis-spoke when I said "Tribal/Fusion"..I don't think I knew what I was talking about. I will probably love Egyptian! :)
Just a hello from me...and a thank you...you were kind of my tutor this morning...explained a ton to me and steered me in the right direction on DVDs!
Wow haha, thanks for the rep! I just tried to rep YOU on your music post, which was awesome, but the forum wouldn't let me. I totally agree with what you said :)
    Consider yourself "repped".
I have met her and had the opportunity to speak with her, but I haven't studied with her. Nice to meet you! ^_^
    Hi Aziyade,
I youtubed Nana Candelaria, and she is simply amazing. I decided to take a chance and purchase her dvd. There was just one review on Amazon, but I took the chance anyway. Thanx again for the advice.
Thanks so much for the advice. When I need information or advice on certain things, I usually search through your threads and always get the answer. Was looking at your site. Would like some day to attend your classes, but that is like a dream right now for me. Hopefully one day, I will be able to. Anyway, thanks again.
    Hi Aziyade,
Nym here. I was looking for a good dvd that really teaches the dynamics of the drum solo. I think I remember reading a post where you recommended Ava Flemming's DVD to another member. I could be wrong. What dvd would you suggest I purchase that is complete i.e mechanics of drum solo, drills, nice choreography to learn etc. Thanks in advance for your kind consideration.

    Nym
Hello :) I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed and learned much from your response to a thread regarding someone wanting to know where to learn about the different types/styles of bellydance :) And I agree - much of what's become labelled 'bellydance' now has really become so generalized yet so easily accepted, even w/o knowing or learning first what actually *consistutes* the term lol. Yes I too have done my share of surfing youtube to try and see the differences among 'all these different labels', but wowww.......seems crazy what and how people term things now! lol

Anyways, thanks once again for your wonderful and undoubtedly informative reply! :D
Hey, thanks for the rep! What a pretty blue costume you have on in that pic.
Hi Rassi -- yes I know Taletha! She's a good friend and a FABULOUS dancer!!! She gives workshops in your area, I think. Have you studied with her? I'm prejudiced, but I think she's a FANTASTIC teacher! :)
