You can throw cookies any time towards me - it will never get boring

But, to stay on the topic, I wanted to say, that hair tosses with extra short hair can also be very effective - have you ever seen Khaled Mahmoud or Azad Kaan dance khaleegi? Their "hair tossing" is amazing!

willl have to check it out. I still wanna khaleeji like Daria n Yasmin though. hehe. I can't help myself there. I will have to check out some hair tosses. my favorite way though is doing it through a partial back bend. y'know. its fun.

Well I know feel better bout having shorter curlier hair, lol.

and i don't do it all the time, but just a lil bit of hair tossing would be fun, lol.

I think curly hair looks amazing when tossed. It has an awesome bounce that I could never get. Dalila is a very good hair tosser- meaning that she does it in a way that makes her hair look very nice.

Of course I can't seem to find any extreme tossing, only flicking, but still, it shows how amazing curly hair can move.

I don't know how your hair looks, but sometimes curly hair in motion looks more interesting than straight hair. It's certainly more unique, with so many people straightening their naturally-textured locks!



The women in Moroccan chaabi videos usually have shorter hair, but their hair tosses, spins, and whips are very effective.

As an admitted hair toss and lover of hair tossing, it doesn't get old for me, not when I'm doing it or when I see it being done well. Watching it being done poorly however, hurts my heart lol.

I still admittedly don't understand why it is seen as a trick/accent/gimmick, it's a legit movement in my books. Someone once said to me "you toss your hair in almost every performance" to which I replied "I also shimmy and spin in every performance, what is your point?".

Everyone expresses them self and what they hear in the music differently. It would get boring really quickly if we all heard and did the same thing. Sometimes I toss my hair a lot, sometime only a little, and sometimes I do it to try and get my hair off of my face lol.

Hair type or length does not matter for hair tossing I think.
Dariya's hair isn't straight at all, and this performance is all kinds of awesome!

In her case it's a whole extra dance movement! In face several because she does so many different types of tosses. There is one that I have no idea how she does, can't describe it but it's really fast spin kind of thing and looks like could break one's neck haha.
Are there names for the different hair tosses btw?
