Thanks! My dance teacher, Horus Mozarabe was teaching Tribal Fusion belly dance classes on his Patreon site via zoom Monday,Tuesday and Thursday this week. I had to skip today, so hoping tomorrow if not Thursday!

Cool dude! Do you ever add a vest to it? When I take tribal fusion belly dance Zoom classes, I wear the open Aladdin style vest with harem pants myself.

You remind me of my dance teacher, Horus Mozarabe! He dances masked like you when he performs, but always teaches dance unmasked. He was a very shy young man getting into belly dance at one point. :)

I think I saw some mini-documentary style youtube videos where he's interviewed. He seems like a nice guy if the's the same belly dancer I'm thinking of.

Love the face veil! Looks cool! I remember awhile back on these forums when face veils got discussed a bunch of female dancers got bent out of shape. Something about it pushing women back into the harems. I do remember David Of Scandanavia would sometimes wear face veils, so I think it's cool! :)

Don't know. What I've been learning is an improvised version of ATS, but not familiar with it being called ITS. I've heard of Fatchance Belly Dance which I think is another name it's going by now.

American Cabaret Style was what I was originally interested in learning and still want to learn at some point. I do own at least one veil I'd like to learn how to move around while dancing.

Well Horus teaches the American Tribal Style or an improvised version of it, which doesn't seem to include veilwork and zills. So, I will be wanting to learn how to play finger cymbals and how to dance with veils at some point.

So then it's not neccessarily a bad thing if the person isn't certified?

I recently found out Horus isn't a certified dance teacher. He improvises and seems to take dance vocabulary from Fat Chance Belly Dance Style(American Tribal Style). Surprised to find this out this he seems so talented. He doesn't seem to teach how to play zills or dancing with veils, but seems...

Well it looks like I'm going to have to wear a skirt at some point. Planned on it to learn hula, but if you guys think it's cool for men to belly dance wearing skirts, I will wear one.
