Interesting costume! The first time I've seen an asymmetrical top on a male.

Most male dancers do end up at least influencing the design of our costumes - its not like you can go out and buy them (or the tops at least) off the rack like you gals can!

Our male dancers seem to have no problem. I believe Khaled gets some from Aida Nour and MandyT here on OD has made him some very successful costumes.
Ozgen has a similar blue costume to this one. Obviously his designs reflect the fact he is Turkish and as male dancers are more usual there I assume he has no problem. His belts are always the typical deep fringed V.
Shafeek is another who has a number of successful costumes

Some male dancers get their costumes specially made, I remember one in Holland who had the most amazing costumes. I think he got them made in Turkey because some of his costumes looked a bit like Bella's

JoY Jewel of Yorkshire festival last weekend. I posted photos on the Who's going thread as well.

No arguments. I'm just sayin' that we have to make/design/cause to be made our costumes, we can't go to Dahlal and buy one off the rack - more's the pity as I *LOVE* many of {insert costume vendor here}'s costumes, but don't have the requisite anatomy to wear them!

Ahhhh my beloved ones !!! Khaled and Ozgen !!!
These days Khaled is making his own costumes !!!
Aida Nour and Seif in Cairo have ready made male costumes from last year !
Ozgen's costumes are mostly Bella and Legend (from Istanbul)
And how sweet Khaled is in the morocan gelebia !!!
