Hi everyone,
so i have always wanted to learn belly dancing.... but i cant even dance, and have never even been interested in dance in the past. I have always been a tomboy and preferred other types of physcial activities. However, i have always admired belly dancing. The first time i saw it... i was glued to watching it, and immediatley i thought " I have to try this." Of course no one would expect me to learn belly dancing because i'm the shy and non-girly type... but i feel like i have to learn, the moves are just so captivating and sensual. It's sexy, but in a graceful and modest way. I just love how it celebrates the beauty of the female form.
I have always been proud of my body, but i never knew how to express this. I figured belly dancing is a great gateway towards self-expression. I also want to be in touch with my feminine side... i just hope its not too late for me to learn because i'm 21 years old (keep in mind that i have no dancing experience.)
I live in Colorado, and i dont know how to look for an instructor. I heard of Sadie but i'm afraid she might be too expensive... but i'll keep looking. Anyway, just introduce yourself and share any input if you have any.
