Greetings Forum Folks!
Just to let you know that online registration will be starting shortly for our first larger-scale Theatrical Bellydance Conference of New York City, July 8-11, 2010--we are aiming for this Friday April 16 at noon, Eastern time, to open the registration floodgates!
My co-director Anasma and I, our conference manager Sophia Ma and our teachers and staff welcome you to come to New York this summer for an unforgettable experience filled with inspiration, cameraderie, and mucho excitement!
Theatrical Bellydance Conference 2010 | New York City :dance:
We believe this is the first conference of its kind, focusing on performance skills, theatrical approaches to bellydance, and staging as it applies to bellydancers of all genres. Our teachers represent a variety of bellydance styles, from hip-hop fusion to Tribal to Goth to Egyptian and more. We all share an interest in creating theatrical work and using innovative theater-inspired approaches to bringing dance to life.

We will also be posting details soon for submitting your piece for consideration for one of very few slots available in our theater concerts that feature the instructors and other selected guest performers.

Nabila Nazem, our lovely hospitality coordinator whom you may know from posts on this forum, will chime in here periodically to help answer your burning questions, especially for out-of-towners visiting the Big Apple for the conference.
