I am 42 ( a little bit of a late start I've been belly dancing for about 18 mos. Just joined a new Tribaret troupe with lots of opportunities to perform. I am absolutely nuts about costuming!
I have used this site as a resource for quite the while and decided I needed to become a more active participant.

Thanks everyone for all the information and opinions offered on this forum. It is greatly appreciated.

to the forum Leilah. I was nearly 55 when I started, so you are still young, I have been dancing for soon to be 7 years and even though I wish I had started younger, I am just ever so glad I found my passion even if in my autumn years.

There is a good mix of ages here on the forum so you will fit right in.
