    Default Greetings!

Hello. My name is Violetta, and I'm from Canada. I'm 25 years old, Polish/Russian decent. Just graduated with a Master's degree in Political Science.

I also just started belly dancing about a month ago.

Hope to meet some belly dancers on this forum and learn even more

    I have one question, however.

Am I too old to start belly dancing, as in, too old to become really good? I see these professionals on youtube, and think to myself that they must have been belly dancing since they were young teenagers if not children!

I would like to get very good....if not professionally, then just for myself and my own enjoyment.

    Is this possible?

How old were you all when you started belly dancing and at what level are you now?

    Thanks to all!

to the forum. You are absolutely not too old, just put your heart and soul into it and practice, practice, practice! If you want it you can do it!

Dance is like glitter, it not only colours your life, it makes you sparkle, you find it everywhere and in everything and it's near impossible to get rid of. (unknown)

Violetta- what a pretty name. Welcome to you! I started dancing when I was about twenty or twenty-one. You aren't anywhere near too old.
