    Question Improvisational Troupe Belly Dance

So I'm teaching a belly dancing class at my college. And I thought it would be really cool to teach my girls how to dance in groups improvisation. But I have no idea how to. Isn't it just practice practice practice? Or is there more to that?

    Thanks,

From one teacher to another, the best advice I can give you is if you don't know what you want to teach, don't teach it. Stick to what you DO know and your students will be comfortable and happy.

Honestly I'd wouldn't want to be taught something by a teacher who dosen't know how to do it and dosen't know how to do it well.

Everyone thinks improv is very easy to do but it actually isn't. I love it but I have members in my troupe who have been dancing for just as long or longer and they can't do improv, or don't want to.
