Losing confidence...and technique

I can't quite make a trip to Cairo, but I can watch great Egyptian dancers, and dream!
I've been listening to old music and just boogying, I took a class in beledi to revive my love of beledi (my favourite dance!), backed out of a veil that I totally loathe (nothing wrong with the dance, I just don't like it - and get all giddy when I spin with veil), and have started to work on technique again. It feels much better - and reminding myself that less is more too...

Oh,

I really can understand that you cannot travel to Cairo- I've got the same problem; I am very short in money at the moment (I am quite an old bag, but I decided to study at the university, so I am pretty jobless ;-)) and I have not the possibility to take a holiday.

But it is just exactey what you have written: watching all those great videos of egyptian dancers dancing together with wonderful live musicians is a big motivation, too!

Have fun and enjoy and kind regards from cold and rainy Germany
