All in all, success but lessons learnt

Sounds like it was fabulous despite the little "fires." I've had to deal with some of those same issues. Finding an Emcee and keeping the performers within their allotted time slots can be a skill all by itself. It's challenging to run a live unrehearsed show on-time. (heck, it's challenging to run a REHEARSED show on time). Now that you've done it once, you'll be better prepared the next go-around.
