I've been lurking for a few weeks now and I don't think I ever properly introduced myself so: greetings and salutations all! So glad to have found this board, which is so informative and educational. I've been (belly)dancing for about 2.5 years now and am about to do my first two student recitals in June. Very excited and a bit nervous! I'm currently based in France but I'm from the US and consider Montreal, Quebec, Canada home.

There you have it. Looking forward to spending more time on this board and meeting everyone.

to the forum. Good luck with your upcoming recitals. I am sure you will be fine but facing an audience for the first time is a bit nerve wracking, just remember to smile & have fun!

Thanks Farasha and Mosaic for the welcome, and thanks also Mosaic for the encouragement. I'm working hard on smiling and looking happy, since I'm not naturally a smiley sort, haha.
