I have taken the videos in one take to have a natural feel to it, and I didn't cut out the language-bloopers. Its like a real workshop - well with some nervousness because of the camera ;) I hope it will become my second nature soon.....

mybellydanceworkout's Channel - YouTube

So far I have posted a basic warm-up:

All joints warm-up:

Stretching after the dance:

Techniques and drills will follow, all the processing just takes much time

I hope you like it and subscribe for more to come!

But also please tell me if you don't like something!!

I think that's great. I know private lessons or in person classes are the best route, but I also know that a lot of people truly have no access to them for whatever reasons, and rely on DVDs or online instruction.

I like seeing someone who is being serious and focused and really doing both belly dance and a tutorial putting up videos. Don't get me wrong...there are some GREAT sites, such as the soul studio belly dance dictionary and others...but there is also the danger of a beginner typing in "belly dance" and getting some porno ad that gets labeled "belly dance" just because there's a woman in it shaking her hips.

(I know that one...at one point...I completely ran out of money...needed to rely on free tutorials...typed in belly dance...and got a video of this woman who looked like she hadn't showered for at least a solid week wearing nothing but a pair of dingy lace panties.. hanging off her kitchen counter doing some weird butt thrust move)

If you have time to post more videos, Ill certainly learn a lot from you.

Warmups are interesting. There are already a few other pages on youtube that also offer short clips on bellydance, moves, and learning etc. If your movements are just basic beginner I wouldn't be able to learn much from them. HOWEVER I am always looking for new practice drills, warmup moves, etc.

So far i like what i see...the clarity of the videos is good so that is a plus. I can also see most of your body.

Im interested in seeing more. I admit to using online videos when i want something new to work on or need help (visually usually) on a move in between classes.

My issue with youtube tutorials is that i cant always see the feet or some other area of the body, or if a part of the move isn't described at all explained properly.

A drill one sounds interesting. Good luck!

Thank you for the feedback - and the subscriptions!

Yes there definitely will be drills :D and there will be a detailed breakdown of techniques from beginners to advanced and a lot more, that I'll keep as a surprise so far...

Unfortunately the sound of my first technique-takes war spoiled, and I discovered it after I got my immunisation treatments for India. So until now I was to weak to make new takes :(

I hope I can do it tomorrow!!
