Saw this and *immediately* thought of my fellow sewing geeks and vintage pattern collectors.

    I signed up days ago.

Just what I need- another project. But in my own defense: I came across the site while I was looking for a costume pattern from that era for a historical presentation I do.

It'll be fun to compare notes.

They've had quite an offering of voluteers and enormously grateful Anala posted when she did. I have no defense, besides needing a new sewing outlet. This came at an good time. Love the thought of comparing sewing notes and learning from other seamstresses.

Side note~ Downton Abbey (PBS series) season one presumable crosses through the year of 1912 (lovely costumes) ending with the announcement of World War one. Season two begins Jan. 8th. Season one was excellent.

    Really? That's kind of cool.

I just hope I'm not getting in over my head. I've been trying to CUT BACK on new projects.
