    Roma people celebrating - similar to bellydance, but mixed with Balcan music. Thought it would be interesting for you
    Do you recognise some of the moves? Do they use typical belly dance moves, what do you think?

    That was fun, I enjoyed watching. The second guy that came out to dance cracked me up a little bit. Very intent on displaying his pelvic drops, and machismo.

    There was *some* shared movement vocabulary and there was some applicaiton of movement to express the percussion, but in terms of likeness to Oriental that's where it ended to me. There are lots of dance forms out there that share movement vocab and it is always interesting to see how it is expressed, applied in different dance forms.
