I've been reading the forum for quite a while, but hadn't registered until very recently and I should introduce myself.
I *might* be recognizable to some from other corners of the internet; I know many names and faces (well, avatars, mostly). I really don't have that much to say for myself right now; I'd probably be best described as a "low intermediate" dancer (which would be either over-stating or under-stating the case on any given day, because sometimes I surprise myself and sometimes I disappoint myself), who has taken rounds of classes whenever time and budget allows over the past three years. I'm a bit further stymied because I live in a town that loves tribal, and I've fallen in love with Turkish. None of that stops me from dancing, even if it's alone.
I like history and music, and have enough random useless knowledge about both (especially when it comes to bellydance) to make me either useful or irritating in a conversation about either.
But mostly, I like to learn and read, because I know I don't know that much .
So...hello!
