Hi!
I'm in working Algeria for a few of months. I wonder if there's anything left of the Ouled Nail tribe today. I know their dancing days are long gone, but I'd like to see anything I can: costumes, jewellery, traditional music...(The Bardo Museum in Algiers is closed for renovations, they may or may not have had some items on display.)
I plan to go to the Djelfa area where the Ouled Nail lived, but would like to know if there is some specific place/area I should see. Since Google didn't give me many answers (at least in English) I'm turning to my fellow bellydancers. If anyone is knowledgeable about the topic, please share your ideas for my pilgrimage. Thank you!
