The chainmail costume on Juliana has my vote for one of the tackiest costumes in the history of belly dance, but she was a beautiful, beautiful dancer despite her nightclub act costumes.

Yeah, I don't like her costumes either. But she is a beautiful dancer. I can only hope to be half as good as the dancers I admire.

Hello Texas dancer, I taught dance in rural Texas. So hard to be a dancer or learn belly dance in Texas unless you live near one of the bigger Cities.

I moved from out of state (Texas), My former teacher in Texas moved back to Austin, so that left no teachers in the area we lived in and teached in. Now I live back in Texas, but longer dance, but live 23 minutes from Houston that is bursting with dancers.
