I'm not new to the forum, but I am a returning member. I haven't posted in quite a long time and I've missed it. I'm catching up on reading and re-familiarizing myself with this old friend.
To reintroduce myself, my name is Makeda and I'm located in Baltimore, MD, USA. I have training in quite a few styles, including tribal fusion, American Orientale (American Vintage or whichever one of the other names you like) and Egyptian raks sharki. My heart's and hips' love is Egyptian baladi and shaabi and they are what I tend to study and perform most. I just got done with an entire weekend of dance at the 2013 BOCA Expo and I am swooning with happiness still.
Anyway ... it's good to see you all again and I can't wait to jump in!
