    Default pattern, pattern i can alter... i need help!!

    i am trying to make this costume but i have NO IDEA how. i would search for a pattern but i dont really know what this is called. if anyone could suggest a pattern, or maybe a pattern i could alter somehow, i would very much love it. since the pic doesnt show quite as much, here is the dance from which i got the idea for the costume

    It looks like a long rectangle of fabric that is sewn up the sides from the top of the slit to just below the arm holes. The bodice is shaped by the by the jewelry, hips held in by the sash. Pretty simple, actually.

    Seriously? That's a simple sheath. Easiest way to make it is get lenght of fabric twice the height to your shoulders, fold it in half and hem sides from appriximately upper mid-thigh to bust height, cut hole for head, hem remaining raw edges.

    Accessories with personalised bits of drapeage.
