Hello , I have not posted here for sometime, so I thought I will share couple of videos , Now they are Indian and they have a thing of twisting everything culturally as you know, but that makes India unique. Enjoy

Not sure, I know the music was dubbed but I think it was the same piece . I suppose I could always ask her

I'm curious because the dancing doesn't match the music at all, if I turn off the music I imagine a completely different piece of music with each video, according to the dancers' movements.

Here's a video of the first performance from a different show. I too initially thought the music was not the original, but having seen the second version it seems to match much better!

It still looks odd to me, it would have worked better if she'd infused some Bollywood stuff. If I were to dance to that song I wouldn't make it look so typically modern Egyptian I guess. That song would work better with different movements. But that's just my opinion :)

I agree on the solo piece -- very pretty, but in some of it (not all), it looks like she's not interpreting the music and almost seems like she's dancing to something else. Does fit in some parts.

I don't get that feeling with the troupe piece, though. They're not only with the music; in many places they're clearly miming the words.

I understand Hindi/Urdu well enough to interpret the music and she is dancing to the actual piece. I did ask her and that was her answer too.
