The teaching application for the 2011 Las Vegas Bellydance Intensive is now online. We're a little late in starting this process, but we've been busy working on upgrading our systems to be more streamlined and easier for us to manage. We expect this to eliminate the redundancy and occasional lost emails.
I want to be clear that this application is for a regular instructor position. Our headliners are booked for 2011 already. All instructors receive $125 for a 1.5 hour workshop & performance. Those who are traveling from out of state/country may also receive complimentary entrance to workshops as additional compensation to off-set their travel expenses.
Please note: Teachers are NOT guaranteed a spot in our pro-show (online auditions will take place between January and March), but there are festival performance spots available to everyone. We realize that these terms may not work for everyone, and completely understand if you choose not to apply.
To work at this event, you must be allowed to legally work in the USA to receive financial compensation. If you are applying from outside the USA, we cannot pay you cash to teach unless you have a US work visa; however, we may still be able to pay for a portion of your hotel costs. Please fill out this form THIS WEEK. Do not delay. Submissions are due on MONDAY DECEMBER 6th. This is important as we are currently working on our new shopping cart and are hoping to go live by January 1st. If you need more than a week, please send me a private message asap.
