About 23 degrees this morning, but supposed to warm up into the 40s later today. Was perfectly still when I went out to get the paper this morning, but I made the mistake of commenting on it and now the tree branches are beginning to move.
12 degrees in Ft. Collins, CO this morning with a high of 52 predicted for later today. One of those days when you start out in a parka and boots and end up in frothy layers of chiffon and silk before gradually needing to put the parka back on as the sun goes down. At least the roads between here and home were pretty good yesterday. The wind is supposed to kick up today, though, which means ground blizzards and drifting snow on the roads. Never a dull moment.
They just sent out Winter Storm and Flash Flood warnings for the area beginning Tuesday and going through Thursday. Interesting considering we skipped our monsoon season this year.
