    Default New to Bellydancing

Hello from South Carolina, USA. I'm unsure of where everyone is.

I've been lurking here for a while, but am still unsure of a lot of stuff. I hope you guys don't mind questions! I sure have a lot. Though, I'll try to find the answers first before just asking.

I'm 25 yrs old with two boys. I stay at home. I don't work. I wanted to learn to dance, but was unsure what. One day I decided on belly dancing. I borrowed a video from the library on "how-to's" and it seemed really fun. I would really like to pursue this type of dance.

I am a seamstress (as a hobby) so I have already decided that I could make the outfits (as they are expensive!) I already have a veil and the fabric to make the harem pants with! I can't wait to get started!

Thanks for the warm welcome! Yes. I am in heaven already with the outfits that I could make! I can't wait to get started! I just contacted some local instructors here, and am going to meet up with them tomorrow.

I have used the video by Suhaila Sampilor or something and the instructor said that was her current teacher! It's so exciting already! I wonder if I"ll get to meet her sometime! LOL Yeah right!

Well, I think I'm going to keep practicing the video steps, so I'm ready when class starts!
