    Default Best Comments Ever

As I read Moon's post about her first performance for a non-belly dancer audience it reminded me of my favorite comment ever. A group of us had been asked to perform for a 50th birthday party. When it came time to perform, our Birthday Boy had his young grandson sitting with him. The little guy was wide-eyed and drop-jawed the entire time. When we'd finished our routines, his grandpa turned to him and asked him how he thought we moved like that... The response (delivered with utmost sincerity) was- Magic Bones!
I would love to hear everyone else's favorite comments for their performances

That is so cute, Rio! Now when my step daughter asks "how do you do that" I have a cute answer to make her laugh. I'd also love to hear some more!

Maria, Dancing Oum Kalthoum I think is the best comment you could ever get!! Magic bones, sounds cute!

Since I haven't been around that long as a performer I have not had many memorable ones. The best one I remember is somebody telling me "you are actually quite small, but you managed to fill the entire stage"

    I'm 5"1 lol.

That is great! Kids come up with the best lines. I just spent last night with my family in an indoor waterpark and my 3 year old niece asked me...Do you want to watch me swim? It was like she was asking for the world from me. There was no way I could say no to her She is such a sweetheart.

Well, look at your atavar- if that's not Esmeralda to the life- dark hair, flashing eyes, gorgeous smile! It must be fun to be so young and beautiful and talented. I hope you are able to enjoy every single second of it!

I am better, thank you- no longer the color of an old lemon, though none of the Highly Educated Specialists I've consulted have a clue why I was so sick. I hope by next week I will have enough energy to start practicing regularly so I can be ready to teach classes in the fall. The docs says the fatigue will last for several months, but I am so sick of laying down that I could just spit.
