What my name means to me.

Hello, you asked about my name... The minute my dance teacher encouraged us to create a dance name I started putting my nickname "Roz" short for my maiden last name Rossi to work. Nia is Swahili for PURPOSE so I grabbed a few letters of my first name Mar added my nickname Roz and threw the Nia at the end so I have purpose in this artform.... that happened virtually in about 60 seconds... and it stuck for the last 6 years!

Wow, that is a nice story. And it is indeed a very memorable name! At first I thought you've derived it from the Russian word Maroz/Moroz which means frost.
