Found you all by sheer accident and it's great to see how many belly dancers there are out there. :dance:
I've been belly dancing for 9 years and seen many changes locally. This is a popular outlet( and obsession for some for many many women it seems. I have recently been employed to teach BD by local authority organisation and the local health promotion people have picked up on our dance as a great vehicle for keeping fit. As well as teaching I dance in a troupe. I hope to learn a lot on orientaldancer and maybe meet up with some in person at JOY and Fantasia.

I love the name too - I'm picturing some mysterious dark shop in a hidden corner of the souk, filled with rare perfumes made from exotic ingredients brought across the desert by camel... (goes off into orientalist daydream... who needs the duty free at Heathrow?)
