Hi, I'm actually Okie Rose, and I joined earlier this year, but I was never able to post under that name; why? Was it because I registered from my mobile phone? Anyway, I'm glad to finally start getting acquainted here. I've wanted to learn how to bellydance since I was a little girl, but never got the opportunity. Anyway, around 2001(ish), my hubby bought me some bellydance video tapes, and later on, I bought a lot of DVD's and books, but it's just not the same as having a live teacher showing you what you're doing wrong. Finally, one of our dance studios here in town just started offering bellydance class, and now I'm very happy. I hope to make new friends here.
