    I have the exact same problem. I'm trying to loose weight on my lower belly bit but don't know how.

    whats your eating habits like?
    tomorrow I start my 30 day healthy eating plan,the weight shifts after about the first week.
    its 30 day plan with carol vorderman,I will post my before and after measurements and pikkies too!

    also,the callanetics is the only other thing that pulls and tucks me in,have you ever tried callanetics?It realy strengthens you for your dancing also,well it has for me.I had to shape up alott before I started dancing,as i was very big.callanetics alone helped me come down hald my size,and by then i felt strong enough to dance.back ach had gone,shoulder no longer woke me with pain,and my back is very strong..there are so many benefits.

    how much would you need to lose from your belly?what waist size are u?

    I'm a uk 8/10 (which i think in America is a 6/8?) I'm average size too, but I want a flatter belly. I think the fat over the lower part sometimes stops me seeing the movement there.

    Ok ,I am going to do day one tomorrow...heres the food forecast:

    Early morning

    * on waking - a glass of hot water with a slice of lemon

    * Excercise - 15 minutes of aerobic excercise

    * before bath or shower - brush skin

    * shower or bath

    * skincare routine.

    .................................................. ..............................
    ....................

    Morning

    * Breakfast

    * porridge with raisins

    * water

    * mid morning snack - 2 crackers topped with peanut butter

    * water

    Afternoon

    * Lunch -fresh fruit of your choice.
    carrot soup,slice of rye bread,or 2 crackers(ryvita)

    * water

    * mid afternoon snack - fresh fruit

    * water.

    Evening

    * excercise - 20 minutes of excercise

    * dinner : grilled vegetables of your choice(cauliflower for me!)and steamed green veggies.

    * water

    * before bed

    * skincare routine





    Dance - FCBD (drills with carolena)she is an american tribal dancer and teacher.

    callanetics - inner thigh squeeze~5 minutes
    hanging bar ~ 5 minutes

    Yoga - cobra~ 5 miinutes.


    Goals:

    * to lose weight and have stunning body
    * to do belly roll

    so realy you neeed to be a comfortable size 8?

    size 8 is my goal,coming from 12/14,you are closer than me!!
    I would defrinately recommend callanetics for pulling your belly in as it pulls the skin in too,it realy is amazing.

    I bet once your contracting your abs more,they will show more too.are you aiming for a rachel brice type body?
    are your eating habits good?

    I reckon thats wher I fall down eating.

    I don't usually have breakfast anymore, no dinner and if I do it's a yoghurt or fruit, then I have snacks through out the evening. And sometimes a proper meal.

    I need to get up early this year just to fit in breaky. *cries*

    sounds like you located the problem!

    can you start with a slice of toast in a morning,or something?practise that til you got it?

    you mustnt skip any meal of the day.

    breakfast- break fast - break the fast,your body needs food the most at this time,otherwise it goes into starvation mode-starts making fat stores and retains water...both for emergency.

    can you do breakfast and light lunch tomorrow?

    sara,its a great start to losing weight...No skipping meals...ok?
    it will take 2 weeks or so for your body to adjust,it takes 3 weeks to firm a new habit

    had an allergy attack last night,my eyes were so puffy and sore ,thank goodness I have the homeopathy kit,a real life saver.
    this morning my breathing isnt the best,I am practising shallow breathing,and I aren't panicking.I don't like it when my chest feels so tight.
    i used to take asthma meds,but no longer,in fact here i am half hour later,after breathing excercises-all good.
    I didn't get to dance yesterday and only did one callan move,I will do more today,I love moving to meditation music at the moment,and to enigma.
    so today i decided to do callanetics each day for a while-wow.how strong i will be!!!!and flexible.


    breakfast- lemon tea
    apple

    snack - ryvita with peanut butter...mmmm!
    drinking lots of water too.

    lunch -

    snack -

    dinner -

    snack -

    dance/excercise -
