No problem

And mainly it's college work. I go to college at 7:30 am, and get back for 5pm. Then I have to walk dog, then the other, which takes me till around 6ish, then do homework and then it's alrady late. I don't have enough time really. Then after a while it's harder to motivate yourself.

I do do dance classes twice a week, and mill about during the weekend with my MP3 player and stuff. I think part of it is because I'm not very patient and get bored easily wih the workout/instruction video's I have.

hi girls

hey sara and moon((hugs)):)

yes I know the time thing is a difficult one,I have 2 children under 5,a dog and work/housework,etc.
its taken me sometime to work out a way to fit all this in.but then you know being older than you young souls;) I feel I need to make up for lost time, and fitting in the dance and fitness is right now a special priority.
It means earlier mornings and later nights,a total change in routine, all for the better though so far the boys and the dog seem happy with it too.It also means moving from one task swiftly to another the best way I can,its quite a challenge, since 3 days ago I decided to add 2 hours of dancing.
so I got an hour dance in morning, callanetics afternoon and another hour of dance at the evening/night.
this has been for the last 3 days,it is working so far,I have 2 days a week that I have just dance and no callanetics.specially for the next month,we are moving soon,so that will jumble me a little with the routines and such.

thats a shame sarah those dogs are so big and pull so hard,I would come along and help if I could,I am quite lucky with indee,my dog,she is quite big but a gentle giant.

great to ''see''you moon:)

love to you both

Heyas,

Is the getting up early good? Like if I got up at six and did a bit of yoga? Does it make you feel more refreshed, or do you feel tired still?

:D Lol yea- well I go to bed about 11- ish. If I'm lucky. Sometimes Gizmo and Tabitha fight each other and keep me awake for quite a while. Bless em.

it takes a little adjusting too,but yes,I have so much more energy, and having that time out to myself first thing realy does set me up in so many ways for the day.

I go to bed about 11pm/midnight sometimes like last night I go around 10pm.
I get up 6/7am the next day.

at first I got up half hour earlier, once I was used to that,I got up an hour earlier.I have now got used to it,the first thing in my mind in a morning is ''dance''.

I get up and jump into my dance practise clothes,I also have my practise cds ready the night before.

I have always been a nightowl, having the children means I have to change the days around,it takes practise,if you sleep in one morning, dont worry just start over the next day,its no big deal.
takes 3 weeks to make a new habit I hear.

hugs

Hey Miss Shimmy!

It looks like you're making progress. I'm also trying to get in better shape. I have a big show coming up in November, and I wanna lose ~20 pounds by then. I've been dieting for about 4 weeks and lost about 7 pounds already. I found online one of those tickers that keep track of the pounds lost to post it here.

Anyways, good luck!

Scimitar Moon: You look great so don't sweat a few extra pounds. You gotta have something to shake. As a matter of fact an aquaintance of mine and I were at a Bellydance meet up and were looking at the flyer for the upcoming show. You and she resemble each other in the face and I pointed you out and asked if it was her. Her reply an emphatic "I wish!" Can't wait for the show!

Miss Shimmy: Your dedication is paying off in leaps and bounds. What an inspiration you are! Thanks for reintroducing me to callanetics.

Cool! My show's on November 11. I am terrible with dress sizes, but basically I'm trying to be at a BMI <23. I've read that although <25 is considered normal, between 23 and 21 is considered ideal. So 23 or less is my goal.
