I just signed up today. I'm trying to soak up all I can about belly dancing in an attempt to teach myself. I've been working on it for about 4 months now. I'm from Cleveland, Ohio. Glad to meet'cha.

Hi! I am in Sandusky, and am sort of self teaching myself. I did find a class that is offered at Owens community College in Toledo that I will take this fall. I have heard that there is a class offered at Oberlin College also but haven't found any info yet. I envy you in Cleveland. There are so many instructors and opportunities for you there. Let me know how you are doing!

I too am brand new to this forum and to Oriental dance. I'm also teaching myself with videos at the moment, but thanks to the great people here, I hope to be in classes soon. You will find that everyone here is very helpful and supportive.
