Hi there,

Are the people, who invited You aware of the nature and appearance of oriental dance? Im afraid oriental dance might be offensive for some people in this situation.

If you're really going, do wear a covered costume/dress.

I really can't think of any vocal song that would suit the situation. Do they need You to lift the spirits?
I would go with a nice instrumental piece.

the people who asked me to preform in this saw me doing a belly dance and asked me to do this, when they saw me i was in a revealing outfit and i want to do a slow sort of sad dance in honour of him to show how beeootiful it can be. dont worry im going to be quite careful, and this preformance has been going on annualy for quite a while ;)

hey elly.... what TYPE of dance are you looking for??...
John Bilezikjian has some of the MOST lovely sad veil-y music...
my ALL time favorite is Sallasana Mendellini... a turkish love song his grandmother sang to him as a baby...
it is very "soulful"... (makes me cry sometimes)
there is a great slow/sad chifti (I use for sword) but 3spell too
