Puddle Jump

I'm Sarah,

I'm pretty much a nomad as I've been in quite a few places in the past couple of years. I picked up belly dancing during my first attempt at college when I was 17, belly dancing lasted longer than college. I moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico in May 2007 and started working with a few of the women there, I settled with Millie, who was FANTASTIC and helped me develop my style.

Now I'm back in my hometown of Amarillo, Texas and starting out with a few women again, namely Bonnie Cowley. I specialize in freestyle, tribal style belly dancing (what many have described as gypsy) but from all the other women I've been working with I've been picking up Egyptian and Lebanese influences and incorporating them into my dance.

I recently did a performance at the Gypsy Festival in Madrid, New Mexico. Amazing!

Great to see that there's a board I can get involved with.

One of my instructors was from ABQ - a great place for Belly Dance for sure!

Welcome to the board!
