Hi all - I ran across this forum by accident a couple of nights ago, whilst searching for dancing names.
I have a group of matured (like fine wine) ladies that belly dance.
I am originally from England, and lived in Turkey for a few years in my younger years. The music and moves stayed with me.
So later in life I've taken it up again, and we perform for senior events, retirement homes, nursing homes, and at haflas across our area of Florida.
I guess we'd be refered to as the Crones of Belly dance, as we range in age from 50-71, but we're actually the Dancing Divas.
Am excited to have found this site, and haven't stopped reading long enough to post.
