Learning To Sing

I have a physical disability, so I can not dance. The use of my hands is very limited so I can not strum or drum. My language skills, however, are very strong. Is there someone who could teach me songs that often accopany belly dance?

While I don't know anyone on this forum, I met a man who was part of an arabic choir in San Francisco - I know, not entirely what you could describe as 'local' to you at all, but more from the point of view that they do exist! This might be worth exploring.

Assuming you don't speak arabic, this would be a double whammy of a challenge! So go for it, and let us know how you're getting on!
