Years ago before i moved my good friend and instructor hooked me up with a set of zills that were really unique. they were black metal, probably steel, medium weight. the most unusual thing about was them was the sound it was a dull sound. like the kind a really good zill makes if you strike it but don't let it ring through. it sounds more like a clack.
i was wondering if anyone else had seen them and might know where to find a pair. i'm not sure how to get ahold of my old instructor.
