    I'm one of the many students/amateurs/fans. I wouldn't go so far as to call myself a professional, even an out-of-work one.

    And you did not answer your own poll yet!

    Seems like similar polls on this pop up around here...

    I checked two boxes: I'm a fan, and I'm also interested in the more technical aspects (style, costumes, music) and the more ... um ... emotional aspects (image, attitudes of others about the art).

    Me too, I definitely come under student. I perform at local events, but I am not professional I could also list interested as I am very interested in all aspects of the dance - history, culture etc.

    Dance is like glitter, it not only colours your life, it makes you sparkle, you find it everywhere and in everything and it's near impossible to get rid of. (unknown)

    I picked other and interested.
    I'm a student, and of course I'm interested in the dance. ^_^

    I had to list myself as other. I'm not a professional dancer but i'm more than a fan/student, though not at the instructor level.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    1. Beginning dancer. Knows nothing.
    2. Intermediate dancer. Knows everything. Too good to dance with beginners.
    3. Hotshot dancer. Too good to dance with anyone.
    4. Advanced dancer. Dances everything. Especially with beginners
    ehm...hard to say "who" I am actually... LOL I would never call myself a professional even though I have some performace experiences and I also teach in my area... but one always has something to learn...something new and inspiring... that is particularly true about me as I am "changing" my style now so I am still learning... LOL As for the poll, I picked "other"
