    Default Crap Crap Crap

I tweaked my knee, and the performance is saturday! Eek! Off to buy a knee brace for rehearsals, sleeping with knee elevated. What else can I do to stay mobile?

Ice and heat? Also, if you can find someone who can reiki it... I fell once and tore my cruciate ligament. I had a gig a few days later and the pain was excruciating. My friend gave me reiki, and whilst it did not cure the injury, it enabled me to deal with the pain for a day or two to get me through the gig.

I've been doing healing meditations on it. Super broke, so no reiki for me right now. I'm wearing pantaloons to the performance, so I could wear the brace under them?

Poor you! That just sucks. Heat and ice is what I've been told to use in the past. You don't want permanent damage for the sake of a single performance, so take it easy.

It seems silly, but could sewing be to blame? It's my pedal leg that hurts, and I've been sewing like a madwoman for the last week or so.... Maybe I need to move the pedal in a bit...

No, it's not silly. Do you get up and move around every half an hour or so, or are you truly obssessed and move only for potty breaks? I have really bum knees that have gotten worse over the years, and when I am doing work sitting down, I have to get up off my butt regularly to keep them from locking up on me.

I wear a diaper so I don't even need potty breaks! LOL!

    *just kidding by the way*

I bet that's it. It's from my leg being out to the sied pusing and such. Gonna start setting a timer and moving around...

    Thanks!

Welcome. Keep changing that diaper regularly so you don't get a rash. Imagine explaining THAT to your gynecologist!

*wonder if there is such a thing as a sewing machine with a cruise control?*

Seriously, do be careful, Alosha, especially if some of the dance moves you do involve turning on that leg.
