Hi! I'm not quite new to belly dancing, but it's been so long since I did it I may as well be 
I took some classes in Louisiana and fell in love with them, then found a new teacher who was amazing but the studio she used closed so soon after she started teaching in it that there was only one session. Now I'm in Colorado and after a year of settling down and saving money I want to start again. My biggest issue is that it seems like some of the 'classes' are not very serious and are only aimed at having fun (which is great!) but I want to really get into it so that maybe I could join a troupe someday. I'm looking forward to browsing the forum for great tips and ideas.
