    Default History forum ?

Would it be an idea to start a forum here where people can discuss the history of this dance, perhaps divided up into sections for the various styles. So anyone reading, or looking into this website can get an acceptable known history of the various syles and with references to where they may go to prove what they have read.

Maybe this website could become an important resource for the history of the dance, as it is, there are some pretty clued up people on here, it would be a shame not to gather and display the combined knowledge.

Also, if there was such a thing as a history thread, people might not ask the same reocurring questions and annoy everyone else, one just has to refer someone to the relevant history thread.

    It's a good idea.

What about a Wiki instead? The thing about forums is that sometimes, even with very specific sub-forums and a search function, people tend to re-post the same things. Sometimes, it's because they truly cannot find those threads. Other times, people might want updated information. With a Wiki, maybe that's much easier?

Okay, I suppose setting up the Wiki itself would be difficult. Googled and found this website: TWiki - the Open Source Enterprise Wiki and Web 2.0 Application Platform I'm not tech-savvy though so I don't really know how difficult it really is. Shall learn!

A moderator slip led to accidently banning bluetowel. Help is underway, though. Don't be so hard on yourself, Farasha! I'm sure bluetowel will understand.
