Thanks Shanazel! Apart from a belly dance workshop in February, this will be the first big dance event that I'll be attending in a long time. I used to be a Zumba instructor (lol, dare I say it) and we used to have big events in the UK, but that has stopped pretty much so I'm really looking forward to it. Plus learning more about belly dance.

There are a few belly dance only festivals in the UK. I just attended “Jewel of Yorkshire,” last week. Randa kamal was the main dancer, plus many other awesome UK based belly dancers.

I did know about that festival but unfortunately the timing wasn’t right for me work-wise and while beautiful at this time of year, Yorkshire is sadly a little too far for me. Maybe next year.
