Congratulations to Shanazel, Aisha, Moon , Kharmine, Kute nurse , all the VIP and regular members and members with green lights,

You all are so very interesting. When I joined this forum,Actually the previous one, I was as ignorant as any other people regarding this dance, This forum has opened up my knowledge as this was one of the main resources i used to learn about the dance culture, I have couple of reasons for that first of all I am not good with long reading(so that stops me to go and borrow reference books from the local library ) secondly I like to hear many thoughts in the same time. And this forum gives the opportunity to everybody who wished to raise their concerns about the differences. I have seen many members join this forum , blew their whistle and left.Some even made themselves quite memorable by being controversial. But its the members like you who keep this forum so interesting by remaining active and with new content . Some of you are hilariously hilarious, many are interestingly intelligent and some are boring as a dead duck, (eg, dipali ) . But at the end all of you make this forum an interesting place to visit and chill out. I may never reach the height that you have obtained but I will be admiring you all from a distance.

Something I've been wondering -- does anyone ever use the negative rep points? What's supposed to happen when someone acquires bunches of negative rep? Melt away like the Wicked Witch of the West??

I did, on an incredibly annoying spammer. As he/she was a new member, his/her only green square disappeared. I think if you get a lot of negative rep, you get red quares, but not sure.

I think we should do a virtual ceremony, kind of like Miss America??? We could wear our virtual Miss Forum Rep outfits and banners ( or whatever they are called that we would drape across our lovely bosoms.) We could both be in happy tears as I take the sparkling tiara from my own perfect hair, give you an air kiss on both sides of your streaming but delighted face, and then I could gently but firmly place the tiara on YOUR perfect hair and finish with a hug as we stand side by side, holding hands for our close-ups. They could play something by Abdul Halim Hafiz in the background as the crowd cheers.

As it is 2.40 am right now and I promised myself to not go to bed before I listened this entire cd (fortunately no original versions of Oum Kalthoum songs...) I decided to act geeky by calculating who has the most reputation points per post. I didn't calculate it for all members ofcourse, just the ones with a lot of reputation and I think Anatoliy is the winner with 0.15 points per post. Sedoniaraqs is doing well too with 0.13 points per post. But I doubt she will ever know because she prefers serious thread and this one has a warning and only I am crazy enough to look at this kind of stuff.. oh well.. I'm doing bad (0.02 points per post... no surprise here).

I guess I either need some sleep or serious help now...

At least I might have made Shanazel happy because I'm only 9 posts behind her right now at this moment
