Dance brother from China! :D

Over all, I liked him. Very supple, very skilled. Don't care for his costuming - but then again, there's not too many male costumes I *do* care for! I don't like the bare chested look, although it seems to be all the rage among male dancers outside the English speaking world.

I could have done without the musculature display at the end - I put that under the category of "stupid male tricks" and really wish males wouldn't employ them. What does *that* have to do with Belly Dance? - and it was a bad ending to an otherwise good performance.

Does he have a website?

Music, vocabulary, and costuming...

I didn't watch the whole thing. The half-naked look distracts from the performance and takes it too far from belly dance and too close to Chippendales.

From what this article says, he does, but it doesn't provide a link, and a Foogle search proved fruitless.

Rating his performance I thought it was technically very good. His use of showmanship reminded me of Tito. Nothing illegal about a male dancing bare chested but I'must with Zorn a on this one. A shirt or vest completes the costume and doesn't detract from the actual dancing.

I like this performance! The fact that he's gone shirtless doesn't bother me; his lovely quality of movement and great showmanship show that that's just a professional choice. It's also impressive that his muscularity doesn't interfere at all with the alternating sharpness and fluidity of movement. I really am not up on my Asian ethnicities, but in my imagination this falls under "if Mongol warriors bellydanced"! Would watch again...and probably will!
