Deleted posts?

My threads & post disapired I had 115. I ask for one thread to be deleted, of mine but now im downt to 20 post, is it a glitch on Belly dance forums? I think so because they even delted a post of me saying someones new puppies are cute, so im pretty sure its not the content for all of them . Some messages from other members, disapeared off my profile to. And so did my big profile pic. I noticed thread by many other where cut short to. What Im saying is they where much longer, now with missing post.

srry deleted is spelled wrong on the heading

The forum went through a big move (servers)and unfortunately a lot of posts threads were deleted. Seems everything after the 18th or from the 18th Sept. Not just your threads/posts everyone's.

Unfortunately Salome was unable to recover them. We don't delete threads/posts unless they are spam/abusive and the like, Your posts wouldn't be deleted because you asked, it is forum policy not too delete.

They where just delted this morning. So it s still going on

Yes it happened this afternoon (my time) the posts were there in the morning and Salome has posted a message apologising for the loss.

After the first 8000 posts or so, one quits worrying about things getting deleted. :cool: Several years ago we lost the entire forum to hackers, but it takes more than total distruction to keep Salome and Anatolyi down.

That was bad when the whole forum was lost :( I'm glad now it's just a few posts here and there.

I think I lost a friend and the messages she sent me. Everything she posted, public and private, is gone, but the person is still here. At least I hope I wasn't intentionally deleted...:think:

I lost PMs etc It is across the board, Just PM your friend and let her know the loss was due to the massive move. I think most stuff after or around the 18th Sept up to the move disappeared into the cyber lost box.
