umm.

please watch the "floorwork" she does on the beautiful Pensacola white sandy beach.

this looks like she watched a turkish dancer 30 years ago and then realllllly went crazy with it.

the veil work makes me anxious. i tried to look her up to find out more about her, like her training and shows or whatever but i can't find anything. AND she TEACHES.

maybe i'm just bitter. can i please get some feedback??

Very hectic. I got stressed by the veil flinging. She could be quite good if she slowed down, I think.

Not everyone is completely visible on the internet though. She could market herself by word of mouth or giving business cards out. Just saying that lack of info on the web doesn't necessarily = bad dancer/teacher.

I really dont think that you have anything to worry about. My first thought was that it seemed to be windy and maybe she was having a hard time with the veil. Then I got a closer look at her top and belt, they are more of a Turkish style. That frantic, too-fast, all over the place dancing is what seems the be the pop-culture rage right now, at least that's what's being presented on the videos that are posted. So perhaps that's what she's modelling off of? Also, I looked at some of the other videos of her in the profile, and she's like that in her Zumba video, too. Just frantic, all over the place...She doesnt appear to be a student of bellydance, but a student of dance itself and bellydance is just one more thing on the list.

thanks nightdancer, i don't think i need to worry either but it was sure shocking to see "professional belly dancer" in her about me section on youtube. i didn't see her zumba video though, i'll have to look at that.

and gisela, i don't mean that the fact that i can't find things about her on the internet means she's a bad dancer/teacher, however, watching THIS particular video indicated to me that she was who knows maybe she ended up getting a crab in her undies and she was trying to jar him loose haha :lol:

She seriously thrashed the veil, which wasn't at all pretty to me, and I hated the hair-flinging when she was on the ground.

But I did like how she kicked sand out with her hip-drop-kicks. It was cute.
