Madame Abla Died

Madame Abla passed away the last week of Dec 2006 after a battle with Cancer. The Middle Eastern dance community has suffered a great loss. Her exquisite Egyptian costumes have graced stages all over the world since the mid 1970's. I last saw her in July 2006 when my parents and I had dinner with her and her family in Cairo. I have not yet heard what the final plans are for the Atelier at 11 Darb El Emry........
