Male Tribal Belly Dance Costume

There aren't too many men who belly dance. So, I have to make most of my own costumes. With that in mind, I thought others might appreciate the patterns I've found in my searches for suitable costume pieces. My own style is mostly Tribal Fusion, with a heavy gothic bent.

For harem pants:
Butterick 4940 (Very Easy Unisex Pants)
Simplicity 5359 (Belly Dancing - Renaissance)
Kwik Sew 3701 (Pants & Tops)
Burda 6316 (Misses' Harem Pant)

For a vest:
Simplicity Costumes 8289 (Pirate, Dracula, ballerina, Santa, belly dancer/harem girl, Aladdin/Ali Baba)
(aka Simplicity 3999, 4464, 4870, 5742, 7651, 9802, 9803, 9892)

For tribal belt:
Tribal Belly Dance Belt (self-drafted)

Kinda. I came here today from there, yes. But, when I came here and tried to create an account, it turns out I had created an account a while ago and forgot about the site for some reason.

Keep in mind that you can buy everything you need off the rack EXCEPT for a vest or whatever type of top you want. Even there, some wrap-type cholis can be made to work, but may not be suitable for everyone. But pants, hip scarves, skirts, jewelry, etc, etc, are all the same for both genders.
